(GunReports.com) -- Sig Arms Academy Director of Training and USAR Team Shooting Coach George Harris demonstrates the Reset Drill. The Reset Drill is designed to teach the shooter how to recover from recoil, enhancing the shooter's ability to shoot faster at speed. It's designed to deliver multiple shots in the most efficient manner possible.
To run the drill, after you fire a shot, as the muzzle lifts off the target, start recovering the trigger forward for the next shot as the muzzle comes down. As you train your index finger, you'll speed up the reset drill and become really aggressive on the trigger.
Eventually, go as fast as you can. When you begin vertically stringing stringing shots, that will tell you when you are shooting too fast.
