Ummmmm, what did he do ??? Ummmm, read the article. It's about time. this guy has been ripping people off for years now, and has been nothing but an ass about doing so. Check out donotbuyciener22lrconversions.org for more info. Seeing him charged puts a smile on my face. You reap what you sow, buddy. The article doesn't really say - you have to sort through several pages of redacted legal paperwork. Ciener advertises a product with delivery in a certain time frame. You pay up front. If the product takes longer than advertised, you normally cannot get someone on the phone. If you are actually able to get a complaint through, Ciener allegedly sends you a notice that "problematic customers" will be moved to the end of the waiting list and suggests you play with your other toys and enjoy waiting for the little brown truck to arrive. Because he received money for a product, and failed to deliver on enough occasions, the sheriff decided to investigate the repeated complaints. Same with me ---- held money for a year. No responses to numerous contacts (email calls or snail-mail). Then returned my money less 20%. He deserves all he gets, IMHO. Good :).. Never heard of him, so I'm fortunate but I despise scum like that Looks like he needs some Botox. Too bad for Ciener..... If he'd conducted his business properly, he wouldn't be in this predicament. It is, however, of his own doing. It is too bad for the firearms fraternity that this dirt bag got away with unscrupulous business practices for as long as he did. With the sensitivity of some people concerning anything to do with firearms, the last thing we need is for somebody to besmirch the reputation of the industry. Happy to see that A-hole go down at last. He was a dissgrace to the gun bisness. Screwed thousands of people. I canceled subscriptions to mags that carried his adds. Hope he meets a nice guy in jail. One more crooked dealer down and many more to go. Honesty in gun deals is a matter of conjecture. Seems our honorable sport tends to attrack scum and theifs. He'll do no real time...that's a shame but is reflective of our unjust system. I met him during one of the Orlando SHOT Shows. He was extremely rude during the entire "conversation" going as far as leaving me mid-sentence as he went to check out one of the SHOT Show booth girls. I don't feel a bit sorry for him. That photo makes him look like he needs a toot. And the descriptions of his business behavior fit the behavior for a guy with a coke habit. Just speculating of course, but I've know people who ruined good businesses over that stuff, and it gave all of them attitudes too. And I thought I was the only one who got ripped off. I've had a conversion kit for a Glock 19 that never has fed more than 4 or 5 rounds without jamming. I sent it back, and guess what? Returned to me with same problems. When I called them, a very rude girl told me, basically, it was my problem. Spike I bought a conversion kit a few years ago and read he made excellent products. But I also read many complaints about his service. Too bad a guy who made such good stuff was too much of a jerk to take advantage of his talent. He is now paying a higher price than anyone he ripped off. Collectively? Maybe not, but he is gonna take a real beating by LE. CROOK !
