Crosman Launches Website Redesign

September 12, 2011

(GunReports.com) — Crosman Corporation, international designer, manufacturer, and marketer of products for the shooting sports, has launched a redesign of its flagship website Crosman.com. The new site has numerous upgrades highlighting the full line of Crosman airguns, ammunition, accessories, optics and airsoft products.

“Our goal was to improve efficiency and the delivery of information for consumers, whether they know exactly what they want or are simply curious to see what is available,” said Chip Hunnicutt, web and social marketing manager for Crosman. “The result is an exceptional user experience due to speed increases, great looking product presentations and fresh new features. Improved navigation reduces the number of clicks required to get around the site by over thirty percent,” said Hunnicutt.

The website features an array of new resources designed to help visitors determine the ideal product for their individual needs including search filters for finding exactly the right product. Other new elements include an outlet store, and the expansion of Crosman University, where visitors can learn about airguns and their safe use. Product pages are a wealth of information and now include suggested accessories, product manuals and informational videos. “We’re particularly excited about the new ratings and reviews capabilities on crosman.com. Consumers may submit a product rating, write a review and even add a YouTube video review,” explained Hunnicutt. “This kind of interaction engages our customers in a way that benefits everyone,” he said.

“Take It Outside” is an all-new section of the website designed to provide product information based on the customer’s particular activity. “What gun can I use for ‘a specific activity?’ is the most common question we receive from consumers. This section solves the problem of searching the entire site and answers the question quickly,” says Hunnicutt. Visitors promptly see all the different products recommended for activities like hunting, competition, pest control and backyard family fun. “We’ve even added similar filters to our ammunition pages to aid in selecting appropriate ammo,” said Hunnicutt.

“With crosman.com we have accomplished a tie-in across the family of Crosman brands through the brand bar at the top of every page. Visitors can easily jump to CenterPointHunting.com, GameFaceAirsoft.comand, coming soon, MarinesAirsoft.com,” stated Hunnicutt.

For additional information about the redesigned website, or on any Crosman, Benjamin, CenterPoint Hunting and Outdoors Precision Optics, or Game Face Airsoft products, visit the company’s Web sites at www.Crosman.com, www.CenterpointHunting.com, www.GameFaceAirSoft.com.
