The standard behind the hip with a slight forward cant set-up. This is probably the most common carry position for CCW and off-duty carry as it provides great concealment and easy access to the firearm, while keeping the gun out of the way and in a comfortable location.

(GunReports.com) -- Holster manufacturer CrossBreed Holsters, LLC has introduced a new OWB product for 2012, the SuperSlide.
Adding to their line-up of OWB holsters, the SuperSlide 3-slot holster can be worn in one of two positions. Most common is the standard behind the hip with a slight forward cant set-up. The second option is a slight reverse cant for cross draw wear. Though not as commonly used as other carry positions, cross draw can still be a useful and viable option to have for driving or while seated for long periods of time.
Staying in tradition with the classic IWB SuperTuck, the design of the holster pulls the gun and grip in tight to the body. With the proper concealment garment, the gun and holster are virtually undetectable.
The company suggests pairing the SuperSlide with the OWB Double Magazine Carrier and an Instructor belt for a day on the range. Or, they say, toss a heavy shirt or light jacket over it and be prepared for anything that presents itself.
MSRP starts at $52.50. As with all Crossbreed products, the SuperSlide comes with a two-week try-it-free guarantee and lifetime warranty.

I love my IWB Crossbreed. It lets me hide my XDm40 under a dress shirt. The only trouble I have with it is, it's hard to draw if the shirt is deeply tucked in. This version is less concealed, but sure seems to address that issue. Crossbreeds design works well for IWB. But for OWB, the exposed barrel end will pop the pistol out of the holsters if it contacts something, as in while sitting down. Good point PfG. I am a tad wide in the lower 40 and even have the IWB muzzle 'catch' on things (thru my slacks,) especially on the car center console. Fortunately, no popouts, to date... I have experienced the tendency of my handguns popping up due to the muzzles protruding from the Crossbreed holsters. As long as I remain conscious of the problem, I can always check to make sure the gun is well seated after I sit down. A simple cure for this would be for Crossbreed to mount a kydex holster with a full length barrel shroud on the leather backing. Aside from that small issue, I like the concealment provided by the Crossbreed, and the sweat shield is very effective in keeping the gun away from perspiration. Nothing to add here, just want to see the updates. I guess I've been lucky, because I carried a Combat Commnder in smaller belt slide in which most of the slide protruded. I love my IWB Crossbreed, it is so comfortable. I am anxious to try out the new OWB holster. Currently, I cannot find one locally. When I do, I am sure I will pleased with it, too. If you like Crossbreed holsters, you can purchase them online. That's how I got mine, and they are very quick in building what you want and shipping to you.
