Delicious Grassley/Issa Note to new AZ U.S. Attorney
September 6, 2011Printer Friendly | Email |
(GunReports.com) -- It's getting good in the investigations of Fast and Furious.
Sen. Charles Grassley, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, wrote the acting attorney general for the district of Arizona, Ann Birmingham Scheel, for information about her office's coverup of information about the BATFE's Fast and Furious program.
Excerpts from the letter:
"As you are undoubtedly aware, many questions about your office's role in the Operation Fast and Furious remain."
"Witnesses have reported that [former assistant United States attorney] Emory Hurley may have stifled ATF's agents' attempts to interdict weapons on numerous occasions."
And so much more in the attached PDF.

What this AUSA Hurley and his minions did is despicable. I am not an attorney, but it seems to me that he should be brought up on murder charges as the murder of Border Patrol Officer Terry is on his hands. What a disaster this entire fiasco is.
Its a swamp, and the more you dig, the more muck you'll find. And oh gosh, what a stink!
For those brave enough to look at just the facts, Fast and Furious was an attempt by the Obama administration to allow US guns into Mexico and use it as an anti gun Campaign Prop later. Their inability to control field agents was not planned on.
I'm with Keith M, on this one. This whole mess smells of Obama's hatred of firearms. It is quite logical to suspect the administration of this mischief, so that more restrictive anti-Second Amendment laws might be developed.
Did anyone read the full Issa/Grassley letter? The despicable acts of Obama's butt-boys and -girls just keeps coming. When the family of one of the Border Patrol agents filed a claim to get some compensation for their hero's death the US Attorney opposed it--something that has never occurred before. All of them should be disbarred and prosecuted. The level of disgust that I feel for these scum suckers defies mere words.
Amen to that Vis!
