Yes, AG Eric Holder does have a couple of email addresses.

Holder Holding Private Emails?

December 12, 2011

(GunReports.com) -- A largely overlooked exchange from Thursday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing includes what appears to be an admission from Attorney General Eric Holder that emails to and from him about Operation Fast and Furious may exist, and that he’s refusing to provide them to Congress, the Daily Caller reports.

The possibility was first addressed during an exchange with House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa, who also sits on the House Judiciary Committee, early in the hearing.

“Most of the 5,000 documents you turned over are emails,” Issa said to Holder. “Mr. Attorney General, I have a question for you. Not one of these emails, in fact, is yours. Aren’t you a prolific emailer?”

Holder responded that, “No,” he is not a “prolific emailer.”

Issa followed up: “Don’t you email?”

Holder responded in the affirmative. “Do you have a personal email account as well as an attorney general email account?” Issa pressed.

“I have an email account at the Justice Department, yes,” Holder equivocated.

“Do you have a personal email?” Issa asked again. Holder replied that, “yes” he has a personal email account.

“Do you regularly email to Lanny Breuer, your former partner, and your criminal division head?” Issa then asked.

“I wouldn’t say regularly,” Holder answered. “But there are only a limited number of people who know my email address in the Justice Department.”

Issa, still not satisfied with Holder’s response, pressed further. “Let’s cut to the chase,” Issa said. “Don’t you think it’s a little conspicuous that there’s not one email to or from you related to Fast and Furious in any way, shape or form?”

I find it hard to believe that Issa and Grassley don't have this jackanape in a lockup already. Any one of us would be behind bars for contempt of Congress by now - and probably long ago. This is a clear case of privilege.

Make no mistake - if it looks like privilege, walks like privilege, and quacks like privilege - IT IS privilege. Just how is it that our government officials all seem to believe themselves untouchable and not under the rule of law? And why does Congress let them get away with it? It's almost as if they're 'in on the deal' - maybe hoping for the same skating privilege when they get found out?

This pisses me off.

Yes, it is quite discouraging that this sort of stonewalling continues. There may be a bit more than an ounce of truth in what david b says..... There may be some reciprocal back scratching going on here. This entire Potomac Country Club set is getting tiresome.

The sole and only reason that I can think of for the extraordinary delays in the F&F investigations and criminal charges being levied, is to reap some political advantage. A big prosecution nearer November strikes me as a possibility. Then again, it may be only another stanza of the Washington two-step.

I think Sarah Palin should write a book about the F&F scandal, and put crosshairs on the cover again, this time over photos of these guys. I might even buy this one - just to get the cover!

'Kinda makes one wonder why Palin hasn't already jumped on this case. As a big supporter of the Second Amendment, Sarah's cheer leading could result in some nice attacks against Obama and company.....

I suspect she's degenerated a bit from a political figure to a 'for hire' celebrity - and apparently nobody's offered yet to pay her for spouting off in public on this particular subject. If not that, then I can't fathom why she's not been all over this one.

Now, of course, if somebody believed in the Bohemian Grove / Tri-Lateral Commission / New World Order theory, there's a possible explanation. Those boys certainly would support disarming US citizens because WE would be the monkey-wrench in the gears of that agenda. (Sorry to shout "we" but I can't get this form to underline.) As a 'power-player wannabe' on that team, she'd have to support disarmament also. It's one thing to talk gun rights to an audience whose votes you need, but another to actually stand up for them when there's no benefit to be gained.

Sad to say, even I, if I were on that 'team' would play along with her aspirations simply to try to get into her pants. I think she's hot. But I'd never want her to actually be on the team, because I think she's not all that bright.

Like I said, Palin is a great cheer leader, but when it comes to substantial brain power, I think you are correct.

We have to wonder why the rest of the justice Dept. is willing to let Holder's involvement go unpunished.I think we have too many foxes in the henhouse.

I suspect, Sharps, that it's because he's the head honcho. If they talk or walk, and he isn't crucified, they'll likely not find a decent job for years. One thing our government seems quite good at is punishing those who don't 'play ball'.

And Obama has made it plain that he plans to make any kind of 'leaker' (i.e. whistleblower) suffer. So even if Holder gets buried by leaked stuff, the CIA will be hunting for the leak source, and when found that person may well be in 'military rendition' as a threat to national security - subject to indefinite detention and torturous interrogation about any possible associates. These days I'd still rather be in US custody than Taliban - but not by much. And only because I hate hummus.
