We have yet to meet a gunsmith who knows all there is to know about repairing, improving and servicing all kinds of firearms. Nor have we ever met one whos discomfort level fails to rise when a gun hes never worked on, or hasnt seen in years, comes in. Unless you specializerifles only, pistols only, shotguns only, stocks, engravingyou can ill afford to turn down work unfamiliar to you, yet you cant afford not to if performing it could create a dangerous situation. Thats why books take up much space in the best shops. Theyre our safety net, and they have proven their value many times by showing a way to fill a customers needs.
From MonroeRising.com:
Recently, a friend and I were lamenting the steady dissolution of our Constitution. It seemed to us that the further our politicians have strayed from the spirit, meaning and intent of the Constitution, the more enervated, disunited and dispirited our nation and its people have become. Discussing how best to remedy the nations decline and to restore Constitutional governance, we briefly alluded to the discredited doctrine of nullification about which neither of us knew very much at all. So, I decided to briefly revisit the subject to see what I could learn. In a nutshell, this is it. I hope it will be of some interest to you.

MADISON, NC -- Joseph Gross, Chief Operating Officer of Remington Arms Company Inc., was recently honored in a special ceremony sponsored by the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce.
Gross received special recognition from the Herkimer County Legislature and the state Assembly and Senate for fostering local and state relationships that resulted in Herkimer Countys largest employer adding more than 100 employees at a time when other companies are struggling to maintain a vibrant workforce.
The people of the Mohawk Valley should be proud of the hard-working workforce that calls this region home and the product they produce, said Gross. The company has been manufacturing the same product for 193 years. That is a record that can not be matched by any other manufacturer in the United States. More importantly, that record shows that high volume manufacturing in the United States is possible.
Joe has worked tirelessly with local, state and Federal leaders to ensure continual growth and prosperity at our Ilion facility, stated Ted Torbeck, CEO Remington Arms Company Inc., and Freedom Group, Inc. This special recognition clearly demonstrates Joes commitment to Remington, its employees and the people of the Mohawk Valley.
