Re: Guns for us, not for you. "The latest scheme took effect last year requiring guns to imprint their serial number on every shell casing fired. This law was adopted even though such “microstamping” technology isn’t available, and it would be extremely expensive if it were. Nice trick. Essentially, it cannot be done with available technology, yet if you use a gun for ANYTHING at all, you're now in violation. In fact, since the requirement is that the gun do the stamping, if you OWN a gun you're in violation in that state. The penalty isn't specified, but is probably a felony-class penalty - at least that's what anti-gun folks seem to like.

So, if you're living in CA, you should find out who voted for this crap, then find out which of them own guns, and go file complaints about them in order to get them arrested. May the chickens come HOME to roost, forever.

Nice trick. Essentially, it cannot be done with available technology, yet if you use a gun for ANYTHING at all, you're now in violation. In fact, since the requirement is that the gun do the stamping, if you OWN a gun you're already in violation in that state.
