Sinclair Stand Sorts Bullets For Best Accuracy
March 9, 2011Printer Friendly | Email |
(GunReports.com) -- The Sinclair Bullet Sorting Stand uses a caliber-specific, bullet comparator and a dial indicator to quickly sort bullets by their length from base to ogive.
Segregating bullets into batches that vary no more than +/- .005 inches in length will tighten groups, Sinclair says.
Simply drop each bullet nose-down into the caliber-specific bullet comparator and place the dial indicator onto the base of the bullet to read its length. Depending on how tight your tolerences are, you may end up with five to 15 separate batches of sorted bullets. Although each of your batches vary in length, all will invariably shoot better than unsorted bullets.
Sinclair Quick-sorting Comparators for use with the Sinclair Bullet Sorting Stand are available in most popular calibers.
