(GunReports.com) -- The USA Shooting Team Foundation elected two new board members--Michael Flores of Sacramento, Calif. and Randy Luth of St. Cloud, Minn. -- at its annual meeting in Kerrville, Texas.

The new directors will help govern the non-profit fundraising arm of USA Shooting. The USA Shooting Team Foundation's mission is to provide the resources necessary for America to succeed in the highly competitive world of Olympic shooting.

Here are brief bios for the new board members unanimously elected on Sept. 24:

  • Michael Flores, Sacramento, Calif.--Flores is currently serving as senior advisor to the president of the California Correctional Peace Officers Association. Flores served as president of the California Fish and Game Commission from 2000 to 2007 and also as chairman of the California Wildlife Conservation Board. Flores currently is a director for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in Missoula, Mont.
  • Randy Luth, St. Cloud, Minn.--Luth, former owner and founder of DPMS Panther Arms, has seven U.S. patents for firearms and garnered Rifle of the Year awards in 2005 from Shooting Illustrated and in 2006 from American Rifleman. In 2009, Luth was chosen as Outdoor Life "Readers' Choice" Person of the Year. Luth is the current owner of Del-Tone/Gun Club and has served on the board of directors for Sherburne State Bank, Central Minnesota Gun Club and the City of Becker (Minn.) Architectural Board.

At the meeting, the USA Shooting Team Foundation board also elected new officers for the 2012-2013 term. They include Randy Moeller of Sidney, Neb., as chairman; Ron Schauer of Coto de Caza, Calif., as vice-chairman; and Butch Eller of Katy, Texas, as secretary/treasurer.
