I can't believe the GT editors got the caption wrong on the M-40! "The M40 Sniper System (today called the M24) is based on the Remington Model 700 rifle." The M-40 is still called the M-40, and the Marine Corps still builds them in Quantico on the Remington 700 short action. They are on version M-40A5 at this point.
The M-24 is NOT the same system, nor is it built in Quantico. One of the chief differences is the M-24 is built on the long action.
