JPFO Poll: Are Breitbart's 'Bring it on' comments a step too far?

October 3, 2011

Printer Friendly | Email |

(GunReports.com) -- Jews For The Preservation Of Firearms Ownership has a poll running on the its website that’s thought-provoking.

The JPFO poll asks respondents to view a video of conservative media owner Andrew Breitbart responding to a question about the recent “days of rage” protests. He says leftist groups won’t cross the line from making propaganda and rhetorical attacks to actual violence because “they [the left] know who they’re dealing with.”

The questions (yes/no answer) include:

Question #1: JPFO Poll

1. Is Breitbart accurate about conservatives outnumbering liberals and progressives in America?

Question #2 JPFO Poll

2. Is Breitbart accurate about conservatives owning more guns than liberals and progressives?

Question #3 JPFO Poll

3. Is Breitbart correct when he asserts that liberals and progressives know that they are seriously 'out gunned' by conservatives?

Question #4 JPFO Poll

4. Does Breitbart go too far with his comments in this video?

Question #5 JPFO Poll

5. Did Breitbart hurt the pro gun ownership cause with his comments?

Breitbart's commentary is a hypothetical response to a hypothetical question about what prospects there were for the loony left to start acting violent in order to effectuate their demands. Nothing over the line about his response. And he's not inferring vigilantism but recognizing that violent overthow of the US by this crew is laughable wherein they'd have to deal with the armed forces, police and ordinary citizens who are unsympathetic and outnumber their membership astronomically.
